Role Description:

Our Client is a £15m Company who is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead their integrated security and cleaning services operations across the UK. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management. The Company delivers premium security and cleaning solutions to NHS, education, housing associations, construction, and public sector clients. They maintain the agility and personal touch of a smaller organisation while delivering large-scale professional services.

Direct Reports:

  • Head of Operations

  • 4 Contract Managers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with growth objectives

  • Drive operational excellence while maintaining profitability

  • Lead and mentor the operational management team

  • Support the structure of a smaller business while scaling operation

  • Oversee delivery of security and cleaning contracts nationwide

  • Ensure consistent service quality across all contracts

  • Monitor and improve operational KPIs

  • Manage resource allocation and team deployment

  • Drive operational efficiency and cost management

  • Build and maintain senior-level client relationships

  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention

  • Oversee contract mobilisation

  • Support business development initiatives

  • Team Development

  • Lead and develop operational management team

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in both security and cleaning services (flexible on balance of experience)
