Role Description:
Our client is a well-established name in the exhibitions and events industry, offering a full suite of services including modular, bespoke, and custom stand build solutions. Their SPACES division is responsible for delivering high-end stand builds across the UK and Europe, supporting both exhibition organisers and exhibitors.
As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team and play a key role in leading the delivery of innovative stand build projects for a diverse and prestigious client base.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and capable project professional with experience in the exhibition build environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Project Manager will take full ownership of end-to-end project delivery - from planning and supplier coordination to on-site execution and post-event evaluation.
The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and be passionate about delivering quality results while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of stand build projects across the UK and Europe
Attend live event sites to manage builds, ensure supplier performance, and resolve issues in real time
Develop and maintain project documentation including detailed timelines, scopes, budgets, and P&Ls
Build and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring alignment with brand standards and expectations
Liaise with internal departments, venues, and vendors to coordinate all elements of delivery
Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, changes, and issues
Ensure Health & Safety standards, ISO processes, and ESSA guidelines are upheld
Lead post-event debriefs with clients and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
Candidate Requirements
Essential Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years' experience managing exhibition stand design and build projects
Excellent organisational and project management capabilities
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
Experience working across multiple concurrent projects and tight timelines
Proficient in project management tools (e.g. Smartsheets or similar)
Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across the UK and EMEA
