​We are delighted to announce that one of the mentees we’ve been liaising with from Trailblazers has been offered a role with our client, Cleanology!

You may have seen in previous posts that we have been meeting with Malik Douglas in recent months, as part of our work with Trailblazers, and in the run up to our FM Comedy Night. We had an outpouring of support after explaining that Malik had industry relevant qualifications and we wanted to offer him support, adding to the support that Trailblazers works so hard to provide.

We are so grateful for those who came forward and offered their assistance. It really does mean so much to us, as this is the reason Trailblazers are our chosen charity for our FM Comedy Night this year. Giving these individuals that Trailblazers work with the chance to make a positive contribution to society is another thing we are passionate about, and with all of your help, we’ve been able to do just that.

Malik attended an interview with Cleanology last Thursday, and we are thrilled that he has been offered a job with the team there! He started in his new role on Monday, and we are beyond happy that he seems to be settling in well with the team.

Things like this is what our fundraising can help to achieve. Many young offenders leaving prison don’t have the resources to help them to rebuild their lives for the better, and this is one of the many things we have been able to do for Malik to ensure he can contribute to society for the better.
