After an extremely uncertain six months, companies are finally starting to get back into the swing of things, and here at Bridge Recruitment it’s no different.

Just like thousands of businesses up and down the country, the team at Bridge are counting down the days until the return to work and can’t wait to get back to it alongside colleagues and clients alike.

Fortunately, many companies have been supported over the last few months by the government’s furlough scheme, allowing their employees to continue receiving an income, and ultimately keeping their businesses afloat. While it has helped companies in their time of need, all good things must come to an end and the scheme will officially come to a head in October, forcing firms to stand on their own two feet.

To make sure we are prepared for such a change, it’s important to start thinking of ways to help ourselves in the future, when the time comes to start where we left off six months ago. By doing so, we’re ensuring we’re ready for the support withdrawal from the government, with as little disruption as possible.
