At Bridge, it’s no secret that we are huge advocates of teaching students from an early age, the importance of their education, and encouraging them to explore all options when they leave school.

We feel so passionately about this subject, and it is one we’re keen to continue with, providing students with the tools and information they need to leave school confidently, onto a full-time or part-time job or even an apprenticeship.

That is why, when approached by High Beech School, Michelle was more than happy to speak to pupils about careers and job prospects for the future. The class of ten-year-old’s were more than happy to oblige, and it turned out to be quite a fun exercise all round! Plus, following Michelle’s visit, the school was inspired to practice CV writing with classes, to get the children more involved in what to expect in the future.

We were delighted to hear this, and CV writing at this age can prove to be hugely beneficial, because in a year’s time, these pupils will be months away from transitioning to secondary school, a huge change for schoolchildren at that point in their lives.

We’re glad the pupils enjoyed the day as much as we did!
