As previously mentioned, here at Bridge Recruitment we’re preparing for our second FM Comedy Night in April 2020, following the success of the first earlier this year. The event itself and feedback was excellent, and we’re delighted to be able to do it all over again for another great organisation!

This year our chosen charity is Bounce Back, an organisation dedicated to helping ex-offenders get back on track when leaving prison. The organisation offers training programmes focusing on painting and decorating, dry lining, scaffolding and cleaning. Since the organisation was established eight years ago, it now has seven training centres (five in prison and two outside), and they have supported over 2,000 people since 2011.

On Wednesday (18/12) Director, Michelle Brightly and Compliance Manager, Leanne Heerey, will be visiting HMP Brixton for a tour and to engage with some of those involved in the Bounce Back project. Meeting CEO Francesca Findlater, Michelle and Leanne will be invited for lunch at in-house canteen, the Clink, and will later be taken on a tour of the Bounce Back Construction Training Centre. They will then have the opportunity to talk to inmates who are currently participating in the programme, giving them a real feel for how the organisation works and how it helps those trying to establish their career in construction and the FM environment.
