4. Keynote speakers

There is an exciting line up for Inspirational Speakers this year, which includes, award-winning journalist - Steph McGovern, Fearless and emphatic- Eddie the Eagle, and one of Englands finest rugby players - Johny Wilkinson. Starting with Steph McGovern who will kick start the speeches on the 18th June.  

  • Tuesday 18th June @ 11:30 - 12:30

Steph will focus her speech on the incredible journey from being an apprentice engineer to award-winning journalist and what she learnt from the career journey. Mixed in with this, Steph will also cover what is takes for a good business to weather the economic and political storm as well as why we need to value skills more in the UK.

  • Wednesday 19th June @ 11:30 - 12:30

Eddie the Eagle speech will look at courage and risk from a different perspective. Most believe Eddie not landing the 90 meter jump at the Winter Olympics caused his most serious injury but in fact it was something different … Join Eddie at the Facilities Show to find out just what that was.

  • Thursday 20th June @ 11:30 - 12:30

And finally, we have Johny Wilkinson’s personal account of understanding what matters and how his astronomical success with club and country took its psychological toll.

5. Workplace Wellbeing, Workplace Technology, and Facilities Management Theatres:

The Facilities Show will also be holding seminars every 30-60 minutes in three theatres, simultaneously. Each theatre will have its own agenda and this years will focus on: Workplace Wellbeing, Workplace Technology, and Facilities Management.
