Role Description:
Our client is a highly respected commercial cleaning and facilities services provider, employing over 7,000 colleagues nationwide. Their people are the heart of their success, and they pride themselves on a culture that values, supports, and empowers every employee.
As the business continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced TUPE Advisor to join the People Team. This is a key role supporting contract mobilisations, TUPE transfers, and union engagement across a dynamic, multi-site organisation.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional with strong TUPE experience to make a real impact. Working closely with operational leaders and union representatives, you’ll help ensure smooth people transitions during contract mobilisations and demobilisations.
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with legislation while maintaining a positive and transparent colleague experience throughout each transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
TUPE & Mobilisation
Lead and support end-to-end TUPE in/out processes, ensuring full legal compliance.
Coordinate employee data collection, validation, and transfer for mobilisation projects.
Support consultation meetings with colleagues and employee representatives.
Provide clear, practical guidance to managers and employees on TUPE rights and obligations.
Union & Employee Engagement
Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with trade union representatives.
Support both individual and collective consultation processes.
Act as a trusted advisor for colleagues, handling queries with empathy and professionalism.
Change Management & Integration
Work with mobilisation project teams to deliver HR plans, timelines, and checklists.
Ensure alignment of policies, procedures, and T&Cs post-transfer.
Identify risks or potential issues early and escalate appropriately.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Support with ER issues during mobilisations (grievances, absence, contract queries).
Promote consistency and compliance across regions and contracts.
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and mobilisation frameworks.
About You
Proven HR experience with hands-on involvement in TUPE transfers and contract mobilisations.
In-depth understanding of UK employment law and collective consultation processes.
Confident working with trade unions in a collaborative, professional manner.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Resilient and adaptable - thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Experience within cleaning, FM, or other large, unionised multi-site sectors is highly desirable.
What’s on Offer
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Hybrid working (3 days per week in Shoreditch HQ, with travel to sites).
The opportunity to make a meaningful difference during times of change.
A supportive, values-driven culture where people truly come first.
