Role Description:

Are you a highly organised and personable individual who enjoys a varied role combining administration and front-of-house duties? We are currently recruiting for an Administrator / Receptionist to join our client’s team in Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy office environment and enjoys being a key point of contact for both clients and colleagues. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the office while delivering a professional and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

This role offers a balance of reception and administrative duties, including:

  • Welcoming visitors and providing a professional first impression

  • Managing incoming calls and handling enquiries efficiently

  • Supporting the Office Manager with business travel arrangements as required

  • Preparing meeting rooms and organising refreshments for client meetings

  • Maintaining a tidy and professional reception and office environment

  • Ordering and managing office supplies

  • Coordinating deliveries, post, and general office administration

  • Providing administrative support to the wider team

About You:

We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual with strong organisational skills and a professional approach. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative and/or reception role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask

  • Confidence in dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience using Smartsheets

  • Knowledge or awareness of ISO standards
