Role Description: 

Our Client manages the FM service provision for a complex manufacturing plant in Pila,Poland and are looking for a Technical Manager to provide a focal point of expertise for the strategic development and delivery of Hard Services across their key account
which has EMEA locations. 

Duties: 

  • Drive the assessment of the condition of the properties and the development of a forward maintenance plan
  • To constantly seek to improve current service levels in response to changing Client needs and changes in availability of plant through taking personal initiative to develop and acquire knowledge of availability of new solutions
  • To allow the Assistant Hard Service Manger to thrive by coaching and training on the job to ensure site related matters are dealt with in accordance to contractual obligations
  • Monitor and control the maintenance service sub-contractor to ensure all works are delivered within budget, on time and to the required quality standard
  • To define, monitor and deliver an appropriate Hard Services strategy for the efficient provision of services to the Client ensuring that solutions always meet the needs of the client in the most cost-effective way
  • To develop, maintain and improve working relationships with the Client to ensure a mutual trust and respect based on superior service delivery
  • To develop partnership working with service sub-contractor partners to ensure their outputs are managed in a positive and effective manner
  • Proactively manage the maintenance service sub-contractor to monitor and report the performance of the services against agreed SLA/KPI and promptly identify action plans for improvement of services where required
  • Create and develop a strategic and visionary approach towards M & E services that evaluates moving away from PPM regimes towards intelligent maintenance that reflects the appropriateness of services and anticipation of short, medium and long term needs
  • To develop a culture of proactivity around M & E provision rather than a reactive service
  • Continuously review with the maintenance service sub-contractor plans for the delivery of the planned preventative maintenance program and development of an action plan to avoid any potential backlog
  • Encourage and create a culture of continuous improvement with the maintenance service sub-contractor to review the planned preventative maintenance program to improve effectiveness of service delivery and improve reliability of plant and equipment
  • Develop and monitor Life cycle plans with plant cost options balanced against energy consumption and ensure the maintenance service sub-contractor monitors energy and utility usage, investigates anomalies and identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Manage works orders and monitor costs for value for money
  • Identify savings opportunities in line with Contractual requirements
  • Identify improvements in energy consumption performance and assist in the implementation of associated "green" measures to achieve this objective
  • To ensure active promotion and compliance with client Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • To ensure statutory compliance and documentary evidence
  • To comply with client Contract and procurement policies and documentary evidence
