Role Description:
Our Client, an award-winning and well respected cleaning Company based in London, are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team. As Site Manager, you will be expected to liaise with clients daily, building strong working relationships and maintaining customer retention among other tasks. The ideal candidate will be a born team leader with excellent communication skills and knowledge of industry practices. As Site Manager you will not only be able to work as a team, but will have the ability to self-motivate and work productively independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients on a daily basis, ensuring customer care and quality is at the heart of everything you do, to achieve maximum retention
  • Manage, motivate, lead and support cleaning staff and make sure they understand the tasks they have been appointed to work on
  • Ensure full compliance to Company Health and Safety policies, procedures and industry standards and be responsible for ensuring your team are aware of these also
  • Full understanding of control of contracts with regards to budget and working hours
  • Ensure levels of service are in line with client's KPIs
  • Regularly participate in meetings with client, ensuring all parties are aware of the progress of work being done, make notes of any issues and action these ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner
  • Produce weekly reports ahead of meetings with Account Manager
  • Recruit, support and mentor a strong team as and when required. Be sure to monitor stock levels, uniform and materials and order when necessary
  • Liaise with supervisors and arrange appropriate cover where needed
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all members at all levels
  • Financial control across all contracts
  • Process and review timesheets in line with deadlines and requirements
  • Be responsible for carrying out HR duties and staff training requirements
  • Make sure all COSHH, RAMS and HSEQ documents are up to date and in line with Company policies and procedures
  • Comply with all site requirements, as well as each individual clients' requirements

  • Interpersonal skills, allowing you to manage, support and lead a team efficiently
  • Must be a hardworking and trustworthy individual who aims high and takes pride in their work
  • Adaptable, regardless of working environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Work well both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • IT competent
  • Discretion, with regards to confidential and sensitive company and employee information, is extremely important
  • Must be able to train and develop a team
  • Be the go-to for any issues onsite
  • Have sufficient knowledge of COSHH, RAMS, HSEQ and all other general industry policies and practices
  • Have knowledge of SLAs and MSAs
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
