Role: Site Cleaning Manager (although support on other sites in London will be required)
Salary: £40k plus benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm - flexibility required

Role Description:
Our client, a well-renowned company within the cleaning industry, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their operational Team. As Site Manager, you will ensure all staff members carry out all aspects of the contract specification as instructed by the Client, managing the work of those staff members in line with company policies and procedures. The ideal Site Manager will have experience in a similar role, managing a Team of people in a similar corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, induct and follow probationary process for new staff and undertake exit interviews when staff leave
  • Allocate tasks and work schedules to staff on your contract
  • Monitor and be responsible for the work of all Cleaning Operatives on your contract
  • Ensure the use of only authorised and correctly labelled chemicals 
  • To take responsibility for the safety and well-being of yourself, the employees in your care and anyone who might be affected by your duties
  • Undertake 1-2-1’s, supervision giving feedback, identifying training needs, providing development and training opportunities, liaising with Head Office about any training unable to deliver personally 
  • To ensure that those employees who you are responsible for use equipment and materials as they have been trained 
  • To ensure you understand the Health and Safety training you have been given and to seek advice and verification of any points you are unclear of
  • Train staff in their tasks and Health and Safety responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is required
  • Experience of managing a Team in a similar environment
