Job Overview:

Based on a long-standing career in the Facilities Management industry, the Owner of this SME began a business which has continued to thrive throughout the years. Currently delivering property support services in the public sector mostly, they are keen to move the business to its next level and therefore require a proven Sales Manager with exposure to the contract cleaning market.

In place, is a performing Sales Team, made up of Telemarketers, Business Development Managers and your role would be to provide effective management of the Team, ensuring financial and performance targets are consistently met and the business continues to reach all growth plans.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Currently be in either a Senior Business Development Manager or Sales Management position role within the Contract Cleaning industry
  • In depth knowledge of the London market
  • Extensive understanding and experience of the bid and tender process
  • Experience in retention of current contracts
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering sales pitches and presentations at a strategic level
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Ability to motivate and support a Team
  • Confident in carrying own target and managing the team
  • Able to devise a strategy for the business development department in order to attain profitable contracts in current and new business sectors
  • Attend industry functions and provide feedback on market trends and development
  • To work with senior colleagues in the development of tactics that will aid the company’s growth
  • To deliver the required documentation to time and budget
  • To ensure all contracts are effectively handed over to Operations for mobilisation and ongoing development
  • To ensure the financial offer is in line with the company's income expectation
  • Encourage your Team to take an active role in the Industry networking events to support their market and competitor intelligence
