Role Description:
This is a newly created role will be a key part of this Finance team within an Organisation that has seen significant growth over the years. The Business specialise in delivering high quality property support services to a prestigious portfolio of Clients across London.  
 
Role:
This role will support the Finance Controller by overseeing the sales invoicing department and building on the accounting functions by monitoring performance, putting processes in place, and refining existing ones. You will oversee a junior accounting team and will be directly responsible for ensuring the appropriate sales invoicing is carried out in a timely and accurate manner. The key requirement is to have a strong working knowledge of the TEMPLA Management system which is a key system used within the FM industry.

  • This role will require you to oversee the Team that deliver the following-
  • Responsible for raising all invoices to a high degree of accuracy for the Business  
  • Supporting with any administration involved in this including agreed credit notes  
  • Regular production of invoices for the quarterly/monthly services delivered including any changes from contract amendments
  • Regular invoicing of all recharges and adhoc works carried out
  • Managing Client queries 
  • Reconciliation of payments made
 
As a Leader for this team, you must:
  • Be financially astute and have an awareness to the sales invoicing procedure 
  • Strong working knowledge of the TEMPLA system 
  • Perform as a strong mentor for the team
  • Sign off all work carried out by your team to ensure accuracy across the invoicing process 
  • Support your Team with escalated queries / complaints 
  • Proactively work with Templa to understand upgrades to the finance process and train your team appropriately
 
Skills and experience:
  • Strong level of IT understanding 
  • TEMPLA experience essential 
  • Attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Self-motivated 
  • Confidently manage a team to produce results in line with quality business practice
