Our client is a privately owned and managed company working in the central London Commercial Cleaning sector. They are now looking for a BDM to support their growing Business. This role offers a chance to join a fast growing and dynamic organisation that’s committed to achieving turnover targets agreed with the Board.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Implement and deliver the Sales and Marketing Plan/targets
  • Identify new Sales Prospects
  • Target Specific End User clients as agreed with the Directors
  • Identify, classify and develop Sales Leads
  • Follow up Sales Leads, Periodic and Ad-hoc quotations
  • Work with Operations Managers to identify opportunities to sell on to clients where they are cleaning
  • Prepare a monthly summary of sales activity through a CRM or tracker
  • Identify suitable strategies for engaging with clients and potential clients
  • Influence clients and potential clients to increase the probability of a sale
  • Ensure quotes and invoices for work are accurate and ensure an appropriate profit margin
  • Produce proposals and quotes based on information provided to the Bid Manager
  • Facilitate the production if required Prezi and Powerpoint presentations to support sales pitches
  • Facilitate the production of sales literature to support sales activity
  • Establish effective working relationships with a wide range of staff internally and at clients and potential clients
  • Ensure that any issues that arise or arising from handover notes or tasks that are left uncompleted are addressed
  • To carry out all tasks assigned to you in a professional manner
  • To comply with all reasonable requests made to you by your Manager
  • To be friendly, helpful and polite to any members of the public or clients you come in contact with.
