Job Overview:

Due to accelerated growth and the ongoing success of their overall business, our Client is looking to appoint a Regional Director (with a proven track record in sales and operational delivery) to head up their Specialist Cleaning Division.

They will be keen to appoint someone who can to utilise their sales passion to strategically develop the business whilst working directly with the Senior Team.

The division operates across the South East of England, mostly in London and has a turnover of approx. £2m. The operational Team is in place and you will also oversee their day to day performance, ensuring the overall objectives are met to support growth and progression for this division.

Duties:

  • You will provide leadership, developing a strong sales pipeline and provide strong management to ensure the business continues to thrive and deliver outstanding service to their clients
  • Work alongside with the Senior team to develop a business strategy
  • Devise a new business development plan
  • Ultimate responsibility for the operational team's management direction and performance to meet KPIs and objectives
  • To continually monitor the operational efficiency to achieve stated financial objectives, and maintain customer retention, ensuring the business continues to grow profitably and delivers against its business plan
  • Implement and continuously review Company's policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations of managed entity
  • Maintain Company's reputation and competitive edge
  • Promotes Company's vision, values and positive atmosphere, in order to create and maintain an environment where all management and employees develop and excel
  • Training your Team to work collectively from an operational and commercial perspective
  • Ensure sales margins and targeted sales rates are achieved whilst complying with Policies and Procedure

Person Specification

  • A robust and confident character, with the ability to manage this key function autonomously
  • Possessing the aptitude to understand and prioritise the needs and goals of customers, making timely decisions whilst remaining mindful of the company's wider visions
  • The ability to create a supportive and collaborative environment which drives continuous improvement and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Strong operational experience with a hands-on mentality
  • Experience of managing large projects
  • Experience of implementing business plans
  • An innovative thinker with the ability to operate at a strategic level, devising and executing plans with appreciation of the wider goals of the business and its clients
  • Using your sales skills to nurture the portfolio and establishing strategic sales relationships
  • Must be driven and self-motivated
  • Must have a proven working knowledge of the Specialist Cleaning market / Cleaning Industry at the very least
  • Strong business/commercial acumen
