Role Description:

A large independent Cleaning and Support Services company with strong family values are looking to hire a Regional Cleaning Manager. They have a large national portfolio of clients, and this new hire will be responsible for a portfolio and team covering London and the South East. As a Regional Cleaning Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations, leading and motivating a team of managers and supervisors that manage a multisite portfolio.

You will operate consistently within Company policy and budgetary constraints, ensuring their services meet and go beyond customer expectations by making best use of the resources available to you.

With a key factor being understanding, managing, and improving your regions profitability and financial growth.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the operations of multiple sites of varying business types
  • Guide, train, and manage lower-level management and supervisors
  • Prepare performance reports for presentation to upper administration
  • Organise and implement training programs for staff in the entire region
  • Ensure that all sites follow safety, health and business laws and regulations
  • Uphold company standards of excellence and service, guaranteeing quality performance
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team to support growth
  • Maximise regional profits, increase portfolio and brining in additional profitable one-off work

Required Skills:

  • Strong numeracy skills to crunch numbers and keep track of the region's profit
  • Ability to motivate others with the team and help them succeed
  • Multitasking skills and the ability to tend to multiple problems at a time
  • At least three years’ experience delegating tasks to a team
  • Problem-solving skills, especially in situations of high stress
  • Strong knowledge of company policy, goals, and standards
  • Organisational skills to manage large amounts of information
  • Ability to generate a variety of reports and presentations displaying regional performance
  • Strong customer service skills in the areas of handling disputes and treating customers with care
