Role Description:

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking print solutions provider, is currently seeking an experienced Print Operator to join their production team in Takeley, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with hands-on experience operating EFI Vutek (or similar) large format digital printers to work within a modern facility equipped with the latest technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate EFI Vutek large format printers to produce high-quality printed graphics

  • Prepare print files, materials, and substrates to ensure efficient production workflow

  • Monitor colour accuracy and consistency throughout print runs

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot print equipment as needed

  • Liaise with finishing and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion

  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience operating EFI Vutek or comparable large format printers

  • Strong understanding of large format print processes, materials, and finishing techniques

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control

  • Ability to interpret and deliver according to detailed job specifications

  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to production challenges

  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
