Role Description:
Our client, a highly-reputable family run business within the cleaning industry, is looking for an experienced Payroll & HR Administrator to join their team. As Payroll & HR Administrator, you will be managing the staff portal, along with processing new starter packs, timesheets and court orders. You will be required to manage all HR processes and administrate all paperwork. The ideal Payroll & HR Administrator will have experience in a similar role within the cleaning industry. The successful candidate will complete a six-month probationary period before continuing with their role.

Responsibilities:

  • Six-month probationary period
  • Process new starter packs, timesheets and court orders
  • Issue confirmation of employment letters
  • Process the fortnightly payroll using the in-house payroll programme
  • Process leaver forms
  • Resolve queries with regards to wages
  • Resolve general queries from employees efficiently and effectively
  • Manage the staff portal
  • Manage, reply to and forward emails to relevant members of staff
  • HR - work alongside Peninsula, administrating probationary period reviews, written warnings, dismissals, welfare meetings, formal capability processes
  • Process DBS requests
  • Implementation of Ezitracker - work software
  • Manage holidays, sickness and absences
  • Manage temporary contracts
  • Answer calls for HR or payroll queries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Update in-house software with any staff changes
  • Respond to reference requests
  • Process ECS checks and manage VISA expiries
  • Daily back up of in-house software

Requirements:

  • Mandatory experience in processing a fortnightly payroll
  • Experience with Cleanlink or Ezitracker would be ideal
  • Experience of working for a cleaning company or similar environment would be ideal
  • Experience with human resources preferable
  • Full time - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
