Role Description:
A Client who is rapidly growing across the UK, requires an individual to join their team. With a combined role of business development and operational management, this role requires someone with operational expertise which combines with their ability to win new business. You will be responsible for heading up the growth and success across the South West for this rapidly growing organisation. 

General duties:

  • Acting as a lead for new opportunities and representing the South West of England
  • Understanding of operational standards in the cleaning industry which includes experience of mobilisation processes
  • Proven track record of being able to identify opportunities for business wins and nurturing the opportunity through to contract award
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Able to work with the wider team and meet expectations for patch development
  • Meeting client expectations and representing the business in a professional manner
  • Proactively sourcing, developing and qualifying new sales opportunities to drive revenue for the business
  • Actively and effectively converting enquiries into confirmed business to achieve sales goals and targets
  • Updating and maintaining accurate account profiles in the database 
  • Creating and disseminating accurate, timely and impactful proposals, contracts and rates to clients
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients and key stakeholders and developing an understanding of their needs to secure business
  • Maximising revenue through upselling
  • Conducting effective negotiation and delivering quality business presentations
