Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment are currently networking for a Junior Business Development Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a comprehensive support service provider specialising in maintenance, cleaning, security and facilities management solutions. As Junior Business Development Manager, you will assist in identifying and generating new business opportunities through research, networking and direct approach. The ideal Junior Business Development Manager would have a strong interest in Sales and would be passionate about developing their own skills and experiences within Sales. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring sales professional to gain hands-on experience and develop their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and generating new business opportunities through research, networking and direct outreach
Support the preparation of sales proposals, presentations and contracts
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions and industry events to gain a deep understanding of Company services and market positioning
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns
Monitor sales performance metrics and report findings, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors and market conditions to identify potential growth opportunities
Attend client meetings and assist in negotiations to gain practical sales experience
Requirements:
Strong interest in services and sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain client relationships
Highly motivated, proactive and eager to learn and grow within the role
Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude with a willingness to embrace new challenges
Previous experience in a customer-facing role or sales environment is an advantage
