Role: Human Resources Advisor 
Appointment Status: Full Time - 4 month contract (may turn into a permanent position)
Salary: £32k pro rata 
Driving Licence: Must have full driving licence and have own car
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire (travel is part of the role so flexibility is required)

Role Description:

Our Client has a large HR team but require additional support for a temp - perm position. You will be based in Hatfield but will support the UK wide business so travel and flexibility is essential. The Company will pay mileage so a car is also essential to fulfil this role. 

Experience: 

As HR Advisor you will act as the Line Manager's first point of call in employee-related matters
You will be required to provide quick, accurate advice on the best method of dealing with a specific employee scenarios
As HR advisor you will be expected to resolve each situation to the best of your abilities. If the situation is outside of your knowledge/experience, then you will be expected to escalate matters to the HR management level, and only infrequently will the advisor need to take formal action
The Company are set up on conference platforms and on a day-to-day basis, the HR advisor is employed to ensure that employees have an available source of advice and understanding - as mentioned above, only occasionally must situations be escalated and dealt with more formally
Writing and reviewing company policies and procedures, ready for management approval
Ensuring that all employee records remain up to date and legally cover the company
Taking notes/acting as a witness at investigatory/disciplinary meetings- at the office and at the contract sites

Requirements: 
Experience of working in a HR environment 
ideally experience in the Facilities Management industry
Understanding of TUPE, Employee Relations etc
Can do attitude
Helpful and proactive 
Well organised 
Attention to detail.
