Our Client is a privately owned business with a passion for service delivery, specialising in the cleaning market. They stand by their principles and are determined to continue their success as a fast growing, quality driven business. To further support their growth, they are seeking an HR Director to join their Team, acting as a Confidant to the CEO, helping with both the strategic direction and day to day leadership of the in-house Recruitment Team. Ideally, you will have a background in managing TUPE processes as there is a significant volume of employees joining the business and therefore the procedures and processes need to be robust. You will also lead high-level communications between the Executive Board and Senior Management Team.
Duties:
- Create and implement employee relation policies to assist with employee job satisfaction
- Devise a list of procedures and practices for hiring new employees and managing the Team
- Establish an orientation procedure for onboarding new hires and training them to meet the needs of the company
- Develop a strategic plan for a variety of HR matters such as employee engagement, incentivisation, benefits, health and safety etc
- Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc
- Lead the HR team in all daily tasks and provide ongoing guidance
- Serve as a point of contact for employment relations and communicate with trade unions
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
- Ensure effective handling of all grievance and violations invoking a disciplinary action when required
- Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
- Report to Senior Management by analysing data and using HR metrics.

- Extensive knowledge of employment legislation and regulations#

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and leadership skills
- A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
- CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HR Management
- BSc / BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc / MA in Human Resources
