Bridge Recruitment are currently networking for one of our clients, for a Head of Operations to join their team. As Head of Operations, you will be required to manage a team of people, who in turn manage over 600 staff members across Kent, Essex, East Sussex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey. The ideal Head of Operations will have experience in a similar role, with the ability to lead and motivate teams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career in operations, building on the knowledge and skills they already have.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of six Customer Service Managers and one office-based Operations Controller who in turn manages two day to day administrators looking after resources, operational procedures and admin
  • Customer Service Managers manage approximately 150 customers and 550 cleaners across Kent, Essex, East Sussex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey
  • Variety of contracts ranging from local authority to educational sites to offices and warehouses, etc.
  • Portfolio size - ranging from one cleaner in office to larger contracts worth approximately £650,00 per annum which employ dedicated Contract Managers
  • Attend presentations and meet key customers for senior level input to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Reporting to MD

Requirements:

  • Must be able to plan, strategise, lead and motivate teams
  • Experience in similar role preferably in cleaning or similar sector
  • Health and Safety - NEBOSH is an advantage
  • Proven people management, customer liaison, P&L, procedures, compliance etc.
