Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment is currently networking for a Contracts Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a dynamic, ambitious soft services company that operates throughout the UK, specialising in a variety of sectors such as shopping centres, education and office cleaning. As Contracts Manager, you will be looking after 12 educational sites around West London, consisting of large secondary schools and colleges with approximately 100 IRO staff. The ideal Contracts Manager will have a background in the education and cleaning sector who is willing to take on a challenge and add value to an already growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all staff maintain safe working practices through implementation of Company, BICSs and Health and Safety standards and regulations - all sites have supervisors or site management

  • Carry out DBS checks

  • Ensure the delivery of cleaning meets agreed standards/site specifications through the completion of cleaning schedules

  • Ensure all areas are kept clean through operatives/supervisors completing quality checks

  • Ensure all work orders are responded to quickly and efficiently

  • Develop and train new starters/operatives

  • Keep clear lines of communication open with Site Managers, Supervisors and Clients alike

  • Assess the training and monitoring standards of cleaning across site, retrain where necessary through quality checks

  • Liaise with colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Must have prior education cleaning experience

  • Enhanced DBS

  • BICS/IOSH are desirable

  • Excellent organisation, communication and people management skills

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

  • A full driving licence
