Our client is a young company that provides specialist cleaning & facility services within the private and public sector. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of a leading FM group in Europe. They are highly successful in the Transport cleaning sector and are currently looking for an experienced cleaning Contract Manager to manage a large site prestigious site in Bedfordshire. The Contracts Manager is not only responsible for managing the staff and quality standards but also responsible for customer/client relationship and ensuring a secure and positive interaction. Transport experience is desired.
Main Duties:
- Manage operations based on the following leadership tasks:
- Plan/Decide
- Inform/Instruct
- Monitor/Motivate
- Manage and achieve budgets as per target
- Manage wage sheets on a weekly and monthly base for payroll and electronically where applicable
- Recruitment according to company policies
- Manage time and attendance of staff including monthly rosters and shifts
- Manage and liaise Stock Control of material, consumables and equipment
- Reporting back to Client on a daily and weekly base (cleaning and non-cleaning log sheets) via Sharepoint
- Manage staff relations, including schedules, disciplinary/grievance and any other issues regarding staff
- Ensure staff documentation is up-to-date and current as per standards
- Initiate and develop positive solutions to any challenges
- Create a constructive “Team Environment” through daily two-way communication and motivation
- Manage customer/client relations to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction through delivery of Service Excellence
- Ensure contractual SLAs and quality standards are met through regular audits and inspections
- Report on a weekly base to line manager
- Usage of digital systems introduced by the company throughout the lifetime of the contract
- Ensure additional chargeable work is secured
- To attend training course where and when necessary
- Attend client audits
- Attend monthly Management Meetings
