Your role is to oversee the security of the location. To operate consistently within Company’s policy and provide excellent customer service.

You will be Managing 4 cluster managers and 1 assistant Manager providing 24hr security of the location

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a safe and secure environment for the premisis
  • Fully understand the major incident plans for the building and implement as required in any emergency
  • Analyse and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities to improve
  • Set, follow up and evaluate challenging goals for the security team
  • Drive standards through hands on management of the team and leading by example
  • Create and instil a customer service culture across the entire team
  • Oversee the management of all statutory requirements and H&S legislation for the contract
  • Cultivate a positive problem-solving approach within the team
  • Manage and deliver cost and budget control within the contract
  • Provide informative and useful results driven reporting for the client on a regular basis to include incident reporting as well as routine reporting and documentation
  • Plan and execute the development of the team utilising the training matrix, on job coaching and off job up skilling where appropriate
  • Build strong positive relationships with the client team, local police, intelligence agencies and other security operations in the locale
  • Manage the recruitment and all HR needs of the team including statutory licensing renewals
  • Conduct periodic reviews of security programs, policies and procedures to protect the entire spectrum of assets from people and property to information and reputation
  • Continuous review of regional, country and local threat assessments, identifying specific threats to operations and assessing the impact and likelihood of them materialising and advise key stakeholder groups providing advice and guidance

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in corporate security management and Investigations and/or strategic leadership experience in Law Enforcement or Military
  • Operating at a Strategic Level leading large and diverse teams
  • Understanding of ‘business risks’ associated within the sector
  • Leader in operational security, asset protection and crisis management and supporting business continuity
  • Solid people management skills providing direction, managing performance, motivating staff and building a positive working environment

Requirements:

  • Must have managed large events security previously

Advantageous

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent experience in other management fields)
  • SIA Licensed to Door Supervisor level
  • CCTV licence an advantage
