Role: Contract Cleaning Manager 
Salary: £35k plus a vehicle

Location: London with some sites in Dorset

Role Description:
Our Client is a family owned Cleaning Company with a solid DOC operation which covers the Southeast of England. They are now recruiting for a Contracts Manager to produce maximum returns from a group of contracts around the London area with some sites in Weymouth. This is an opportunity for you to be part of a business with exciting plans for growth.


As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting a team of Cleaners and Supervisors, working with them on the front line to maximise client retention and growth
  • Close analysis of the business and production of operating strategies for the area
  • Drive innovation and mobilisation of any new business wins
  • Client engagement at all levels
  • Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings and account growth


As Contracts Manager you will have the following expertise and attributes:

  • Approachable, developmental, supportive/nurturing but equally focused on developing and delivering to standards, targets
  • Proactive performance management skills 
  • Strong problem solver and coaching techniques to get others to own and solve their own problems effectively
  • Strong Team working ethos with clear examples of how they achieve this
  • Excellent communication skills - able to communicate effectively with all levels from client’s senior management to operational staff
  • IT literate, MS office, other IT systems such as HR systems both PC and Manual
  • Good prioritisation of work, time management and organisational planning techniques
