Job Overview:

Responsibility to ensure the maintenance and implementation of all the requirements of Quality Management System. The post holder is the Compliance Officer with the authority to resolve all quality and related matters for which they have a direct line of accountability to the Group QHSE Manager. 

In addition, there will be Audit, Quality responsibilities, working closely with Head Office and field-based teams, undertaking internal audit, policy and process review and advising operational staff as appropriate.

Main duties and responsibilities:

This role will include a variety of tasks including the following;

Compliance Security:

  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety  ISO45001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 14001:2015 inspected status requirements both by law and in line with industry standards
  • Ensure continuous improvement programmes in line with ISO 9001:2015 processes are developed and implemented
  • Ensure all SIA ACS requirements and enhancements are met
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are kept up to date and amended as necessary
  • Develop and implement the Manual in line with ISO 9001:2015 and all-applicable industry standards
  • Produce all quality literature and systems as pertinent to each function within the company calling upon the support of function heads for their specific contributions
  • Ensure all company personnel are sufficiently informed of the quality procedures and ensure they receive the necessary training to undertake their functions in – line with the procedures
  • Ensure that no uncontrolled forms or documentation are utilised and that all forms are being operated in line with the procedure
  • Undertake Internal Audits both at Head Office, regional locations and Assignment bases to ensure conformance with the quality system
  • Acknowledge any Non-Conformances and undertake to project manage their resolution
  • Hold Corrective Action Meetings as required with functional heads and senior managers in order to ensure continued appraisal of the quality procedure and cascade best practice
  • Ensure the quality procedures are regularly reviewed and maintained in line with the evolving needs of the business
  • Recommendation and production of all Health and Safety  literature and systems
  • Constantly monitor Health and Safety  legislation to ensure company conformance
  • Control and monitor the Company accident reporting procedures ensuring all incidents are processed in line with company policy, statistics are collated and analysed giving a trend report

Qualifications and experience:

Requirements

  • Significant knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements
  • Significant keyboard skills and experience of working with Microsoft office applications
  • Excellent Word and Excel Skills, working knowledge of PowerPoint and Publisher
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in work output
  • Experience of dealing with key customer contacts and employees at all levels
  • Evidence of tenacity, initiative, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of the English language with highly defined communication skills both written and oral
  • Assertive but not aggressive
  • Team player with sense of humour
  • Reliability under pressure
  • Willingness to multi skill and utilise the same
