Role Description:
Due to an internal promotion, our Client is seeking a Commercial Manager to join them and contribute to their longstanding Business which operates in the corporate London market.
As Commercial Manager, the purpose of the job is
- To pursue new business opportunities
- Carry out marketing activities
- Visit various sites to assess new business requirements
- Analyse and produce commercial bids
- Mobilisation planning and implementation
- Contract innovations and development
- Be sure to maintain Client relationships
- Account management representation
- To carry out additional duties and tasks where necessary.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Identify ways in which to expand the business, including through existing relationships and new business leads
- Analyse sales, financial and marketing data to further your knowledge with regards to improving performance and maximising growth and Client relationships
- Develop accurate and consistent bids
- Be sure to maintain productive relationships with Clients
- Manage and control medium to large scale mobilisations
- Identify risks and benefits which may arise with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be prepared to handle unexpected situations and issues
- Contribute to Focus Groups on relevant topics
- Produce and distribute Client update newsletter when required
- Create and develop tender and bid writing documents when necessary
- Develop the role and investigate ways to improve existing procedures
- Attend training courses and seek to enhance personal skills in order to improve individual performance and career development
- Develop and work towards business objectives.
