Our Client is one of the largest privately owned Construction and Property Service Firms in the UK who have built their reputation based on their core values, integrity, market intelligence, performance and most importantly team work. They are now in the market for a technical solutions sales professional to support the award of hard service contracts across the UK.   
 
Duties: 
  • Create and drive effective strategic relationships with all key contacts and decision makers with each account in order to maximise business opportunities and ensure retention of top clients 
  • Manage new sales opportunities and execute sales process from presentation through to contract negotiations and close, including shaping value adding strategic solutions  
  • Creating compelling proposals 
  • Understanding the competitor's strengths and weaknesses and differentiating proposals 
  • Providing technical solution development 
  • Building strong business cases 
  • Understand client requirements and subsequently develop and implement appropriate services and account sales plans to win significant revenue
  • Develop best practice sales methodologies and collateral and be a 'knowledge bank' for market and competitor knowledge 
  • Develop, implement and own financial plans and forecasts by client division and product group
  • Ensure the accurate completion of all forecasts  
  • Maintain an active awareness of the market trends (economic, regulatory, competitive and technology), to identify business opportunities, subsequently influencing and driving appropriate solutions 
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organisation's product/service strategies 
  • Be the expert representative for Group bids/presentations.
