As Business Development Manager, you will source new business opportunities, working closely with the Head of Business Development to deliver the business development strategy. You will take ownership for delivering profitable new contracts for our Client by developing new sales opportunities in the TFM market. You will have a stable experience of competitive tendering and demonstrate capabilities in generating sales through other procurement routes. You will also work closely with the Head of Operations and the Regional Heads of Services (RHoS) to support the conversion of Service Density opportunities.
Duties:
- Supporting the commercial strategy by ensuring the new business targets ar achieved
- Develop medium and longer-term key client prospects
- Support the development of new market sectors
- Cultivating new clients and strategic partners
- Ensuring Partnerships are in place and continually developed
- Drive continual increase in profitable new clients
- Active networking and client engagement
- Develop a relationship with market sector consultants
- Good knowledge of competitor activity and opportunity pipeline
- Strong internal relationships to identify sales opportunities
- Belong to appropriate professional bodies and organisations
- Account Management of Key Clients
- Retention of key new Clients
- The additional business acquired from key clients
- Act as an ambassador for the Company at all times
- Responds in a timely manner to all client queries and correspondence
- Monitoring all customer relationships (through Salesforce CRM)
- Salesforce must be utilised throughout the sales process
- The system must be used exclusively for all business development reporting
- To be up to date with all new industry innovations for inclusion in tender responses
- Liaise regularly with the Business Services Development Team and Heads of each Service for new innovations, products, supply partners and market trend analysis
- Apply innovative ideas to create the right solution for a new client
