Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment are excited to be networking for a Business Development Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a forward-thinking cleaning and support service provider operating within office cleaning, retail, pest control and waste management amongst others. As the Business Development Manager for national operations, you will be responsible for driving growth, identifying new business opportunities and cultivating partnerships to expand market presence. This is a hybrid role, requiring a combination of strategic planning, relationship building, and hands-on execution. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with executive leadership to establish growth objectives and develop strategies to achieve them
Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify opportunities for expansion
Create comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives
Proactively seek out and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships and alliances
Negotiate and finalise contracts, agreements and partnerships to drive revenue growth
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business prospects
Work closely with sales teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies
Provide leadership and guidance to sales representatives, supporting them in meeting and exceeding revenue targets
Monitor sales performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and industry influencers
Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to expand network and visibility
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of business development efforts
Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership, summarising progress, challenges and opportunities
Requirements:
Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles
Strong understanding of sales processes, negotiation techniques and business development strategies
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically, analyse data and make data-driven decisions
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience leading cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel as needed
