Role Description:
Our Client is a highly reputable organisation in the UK and is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Team. The desired Business Development Manager will have had experience in the Cleaning Industry and demonstrate their knowledgeable when generating new business and managing new and existing accounts. The role will generate new business across the North of England and focus on contract awards that compliment the strong reference points they have across the UK. For the first 12 months there will be no business target, you will have time to develop your pipeline with the support of a well structured sales department to rely on. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Source and develop new business leads and opportunities 
  • Ensure that all business relationships are maintained and well managed
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and reports
  • Complete Contract quotations promptly 
  • Prepare quotes, solutions and proposals and ensure they are approved by the Sales Director before submission
  • Meet Clients and promote the Company, with the Company’s best interests in mind
  • Build the Company’s reputation by effectively networking with the right people and building the brand 
  • Develop new business and retain repeat business opportunities within key accounts
Desirable Attributes, Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record of sales achievements in a similar role and background
  • Must be able to maintain a successful working relationship with Clients in order to retain business
  • Be able to build a pipeline of opportunities 
  • Be a self-starter
  • Computer literate, able to operate Microsoft Office and all other relevant IT solutions 
  • Proactive, success driven and flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Good attention to detail, organised with a strong work ethic
  • Willing to travel across the Midlands and North.
