Do you have proven success in a business development environment? Are you able to build long-term working relationships with clients? If so, Bridge have been appointed to source Candidates for a Business Development Director's position which focusses on the award of profitable business across the UK. You will manage the new business activities across all business sectors and will be expected to fulfill the following duties :- 

  • To identify, respond and manage all client business development enquiries for your vertical market
  • Ensure the End to End sales process is followed and all stakeholders are communicated with, throughout all stages of the sales cycle
  • You must proactively own, lead, design and deliver client solutions to all potential clients
  • Manage and develop the on-going client pipeline through administration of the CRM platform, Salesforce.com
  • Pro-actively develop relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Ensure a smooth and effective handover of all accounts to the appropriate Operational Manager and Mobilisation Team
  • Oversee all sales documentation, whether internal or external facing, is compliant with the Company's brand guidelines and reflects wholly and accurately, the service capabilities of the business
  • Negotiate the best terms possible with all potential prospects and adhere to authorisation procedures on pricing
  • Work closely with the marketing department to ensure the brand image is constantly maintained at the highest level
  • Raise the profile on an internal and external basis, through effective networking and attendance at relevant industry and corporate functions
  • Design and execute a sales driven marketing plan and budget that shows long-term penetration of specific target clients and markets
  • Monitor competitor activity and endeavour to constantly understand the key differentiators.
