Role Description:

 

We have been assigned by our client to identify a Bid Manager to be home based initially, however, in the future there will be a requirement to travel to their London H.O 2/3 times a week.  The successful candidate will report into the Bid Team Manager. The Bid Team support 8 Commercial Managers in producing professional PQQ responses, tender proposals, and presentations with the aim of winning business. The successful candidate will be required to manage the process of completing all tender related documents. Responding to bespoke questions and ensuring compliance. As an individual you will be a team player, possess excellent written communication and time management skills, be able to compile customer focused, concise responses, preferably have experience in Bid management/writing within the facilities management or similar commercial environment and be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.

Specific Duties:

  • Take ownership for the bid process. Be responsible for the timely planning, coordination, and efficient management of the PQQ/ RFP/ Tender from start to submission
  • Gain a clear understanding and interpretation of the questions and requirements within PQQ/ RFP/ Bid documentation
  • Create both standard and bespoke responses
  • Work closely with the Commercial Managers to tailor solutions to fit the opportunity
  • Proof read response documents
  • Communicate with various departments within the business to obtain information, engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Review and update the tender library
  • Create organisational charts and other graphics
  • Assist with PowerPoint presentations – create diagrams/ charts, source new images, proof read
  • Research clients to gain a clear understanding of their requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Experience working in bids/ commercial environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
