Role Description: 

Our client is looking for an Area Supervisor to assist a portfolio of contracts In London, in line with their agreed specification. You will be responsible for the smooth day to day management of all services provided by the company. Providing direction, guidance, training and support to all employees.

Main duties: 

  • Arranging and organise all relevant and necessary cover
  • Ensure team have the correct training, tools and equipment at all times
  • Responsible for managing and delivering the onsite Quality Management System
  • Ensure tickets are allocated, completed and reported back to you line manager for closing within the agreed timescale
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate levels/supply of consumables and monthly order
  • Managing all of the onsite cleaning equipment making sure it all PAT tested and ready to use
  • Assist with individual Team member annual appraisal program
  • Issuing, documenting and monitoring of overtime with previous agreement of the site manager
  • Ensuring all periodic works are delivered on time and on budget accordingly with the building specs
  • Liaising with the client to ensure all ad-hoc events and tickets are solved and delivered to the requested level
  • Responsible for all Health and Safety Weekly, monthly reviews and update RAMs, TBT in the database system as required
  • Responsible to carry all TBT and trainings to new and existing team members as required by the Client’s high standards
  • Make sure all new employees pass the onboarding training and completed all the required Health and Safety procedure as well as the Client’s site rules and regulations prior to their starting date
  • Ensure all operational processes align to ISO 9001/14001/18001 standards
  • Report to your line manager by email of any accident and fill the relevant documents immediately soon after it happened
  • Report any maintenance issues, fire, flood and property damage through the database reporting system
  • Proactive to all Health and safety issues relating to the individual, team, and customers
  • Monitor Smart Task system (MK, washroom) and quality control audits in order to have accurate scoring at the end of the month
  • Responsible to carry out any HR investigations and issues as they occur, taking notes, sign and date it for either formal or informal conversations with the team or individual team member will be required
  • Maintain and monitor cleaning standards in line with KPI's
  • Manage holiday requests and rota accordingly
  • Make sure any information required is input in the system on a daily basis as this information is monitored by the client
  • Assist with the recruitment process when required
