Role Description:

Our Client, a highly reputable Company within the cleaning industry, is looking to appoint an Area Manager to join their Team. As Area Manager you will be able to multitask while keeping Customer care and service a priority. You will be responsible for managing cleaning and support services across a portfolio of roughly 20 education and commercial sites around the East London and Kent areas. As Area Manager, you will be expected to be proactive with experience in a similar field and industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience of managing KPI’S service level agreements, financial budgets and performance targets
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure works are being completed in line with Company procedure
  • Build and maintain sustainable working relationships with Customers and Clients 
  • Plan and complete monthly specification audits with Clients
  • Ensure regular communication with Clients whether it be via email, telephone or in person
  • Complete and present Client reports to deadlines
  • Management of day-to-day service issues
  • Provide solutions to improve operational performance and to fix any issues which may arise
  • Recruitment, training and management of site Teams
  • Monthly management of stock and uniform
  • Manage payroll and ensure it is completed on time and as required
  • Management of equipment repair at all sites
  • Ensure Health and Safety complies with Company procedures at all sites
  • Ensure periodic tasks are completed and signed off
  • Management of electronic site timesheets

Experience:

  • Manage your time well and be flexible
  • Previous knowledge of cleaning and or FM would be helpful
