Role Description:
Our Client is a renowned and well-established Company within the Cleaning and Support Services division. With 20 years of experience behind them, they are committed to providing the best service to their customers and are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their Team. As Account Manager you will be responsible for overseeing accounts while managing a Team of Cleaning operatives. You will be required to have excellent people management skills with experience of the above.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all aspects of work comply with Health and Safety standards, keeping colleagues, clients, workers and guests safe
  • Review best practice and forward any relevant ideas and innovations onto the relevant personnel, keeping ahead of the game
  • Attend meetings and arrange training as and when needed, ensuring your Team is fully equipped with regards to working to their full ability
  • Ensure all sites comply with current Health and Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
  • Plan, organise and manage operational activities of the account
  • Liaise closely with the Client to ensure requirements are met and exceeded
  • Undertake quarterly Health and Safety audits and monthly cleaning inspections
  • Recruit, train, develop and support Supervisors and Staff
  • Complete Staff performance reviews ensuring they have sound knowledge of all Company and Client procedures
  • Ensure required equipment is at each site
  • Ensure adequate planning for the start and end of all Contracts, including TUPE

  • Demonstrated experience of working in a similar environment and managing a Team
