PFM Awards

Virtual, PFM Awards

Last Wednesday (March 17) the annual PFM Awards took place, and for the first time in it’s history, the winners were announced in a virtual ceremony.

Originally in the calendar for last November, the event was rescheduled due to the pandemic and congratulated those who would have been 2020 winners. It was hoped that last week’s event would be a live ceremony but following the early January lockdown, organisers decided to make it a virtual event.

The PFM Awards are a fantastic way to network, showcase and give outstanding businesses within the FM industry the recognition they deserve. Although a little different, this year didn’t disappoint, and it was brilliant to see so many exceptional companies celebrated for their hard work and efforts, especially throughout such a challenging period.

With 18 categories being judged, it must have been an incredibly difficult decision to shortlist the original entries but to even be entered is a phenomenal achievement, and one that everyone involved should be proud of.

Amongst the 2020 winners were Savills Property Management with The Leadenhall Building (Partners in Sustainability), Sodexo with Johnson & Johnson (Partners in International FM Delivery), CBRE GWS with The Rugby Football Union (Partners in Energy Management) and JPC by Samsic with Regent’s Place (Partners in Cleaning). The overall winner was Amey with Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service. A full list of winners can be found here.

Following last week’s online ceremony, organisers are currently planning the 2021 PFM Awards which are hoping to take place in November.
