Role Description:
Our Client, a well-established company within the Facilities industry, is looking to appoint a Window Cleaning Manager to join their Team. Operating since 2001, they have grown their Team significantly and now have over 3000 staff. As Window Cleaning Manager you will be responsible for the organisation and management of a large window cleaning Team, enabling the delivery of PPM and specialist cleaning services. The ideal Window Cleaning Manager will have experience in a similar environment and will have the ability to interact with all members of staff at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Health and Safety, risk assessments, COSHH, PPE and Health and Safety plans are coordinated by the General Manager
  • Make sure the 'working at height' strategy is compliant, safe and adheres to policies and procedures
  • Manage and develop the Window Cleaning Team to ensure they work to the best of their ability and to the highest standards
  • Oversee all operations
  • Guide, train and manage Team members and supervisors
  • Responsible for ensuring Team Leaders and Operatives are aware of weekly schedules
  • Assist with the scheduling of daily PPM tasks, specialist tasks, ad-hoc tasks and new contracts
  • Undertake site safety inspections and audits, and be sure to remove all non-compliances and non-conformities
  • Always uphold company standards of excellence and service in every aspect of your role
  • Seek and pursue relevant opportunities and assist in maximising and expanding the size of project accounts

  • Must be able to motivate staff to deliver to the highest standards and work to the best of their ability, always exceeding clients' expectations
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to work well with others, as part of a Team
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of the industry
  • Must be aware and have excellent knowledge of Health and Safety practices
  • Experience of working at height is essential
  • NEBOSH is desirable
