Role Description:

We’re partnering with a growing organisation seeking a Junior Bid Writer to join their Business Development team. This role offers the opportunity to build on your existing experience while contributing to high-quality bids that drive new business.

The Role

As a Junior Bid Writer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the creation of compelling, high-quality content for tenders, proposals, and bids. Working closely with experienced colleagues and internal stakeholders, you’ll help develop tailored responses and ensure submissions are delivered to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of the full bid lifecycle while further developing your writing, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the development of bid and tender responses

  • Writing clear, engaging, and tailored content for submissions

  • Collaborating with internal teams to gather key information

  • Assisting with the coordination and submission of bids to meet deadlines

  • Maintaining and updating bid content libraries

  • Proofreading and editing documents to ensure accuracy and quality

  • Using tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and AI platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot)

  • Contributing to presentations and sales materials

  • Supporting continuous improvement by gathering feedback on submissions

What They're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working within a bid writing, proposals, or tender environment

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience within facilities management, construction, or service-based industries

  • Familiarity with Adobe or bid management tools

  • Exposure to AI tools within a content or bid environment
