Our client is a young company that provides specialist cleaning & facility services within the facility, transport and aviation industry. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of a leading FM group in Europe. The company wishes to expand and strengthen their management team to the considerable success that it has achieved to date and build a stronger profile in the UK market. They are currently searching for a Health and Safety Manager. Half of their contracts run at night so the correct candidate would have to be flexible and able to work out of office hours. The H&S Manager will be responsible for ensuring re-vamping, implementation, smooth running and developing H&S related training specific to and our site / client specifications, including but not limited to safe systems of work (risk assessments, method statements) and auditing systems. 
 
The Candidate:
  • The ideal candidate will have H&S experience within facilities management and ideally the transport industry, in particular, the bus industry.
  • They should be IOSH, NEBOSH qualified and certified with current registration. CMIOSH and a degree in H&S Management are also beneficial.
  • The ideal candidate should be well versed in Microsoft office computing systems and feel comfortable in designing and reformatting H&S documents, policies and developing their own systems of work.
  • Ideally based around the M25, High Wycombe area but available to travel nationally including sites in Scotland. 
  • A valid driver’s license is a requirement for this role as our sites are based throughout the UK.
