Role Description:
Our client, a highly reputable company within the cleaning industry, is looking to appoint an Estate Manager to join their team. Established in 1986, the company has a diverse workforce originating from over 40 countries. The ideal Estate Manager would have experience in a similar field and a good understanding of the cleaning industry. As Estate Manager you will be expected to manage horticulture and arboriculture across the estate, as well as other services.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-performance grass cutting, horticulture and arboriculture across the estate
  • Will also be expected to manage other services such as onsite building cleaning, among others
  • Provide high-quality inhouse and outsourced services, to ensure that high standards are maintained and ensure customer focus
  • Induct, train and motivate staff to a high standard
  • Maintain service delivery within agreed budget
  • Ensure all clients' requirements are met in a professional manner
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:

  • A strong background in performance management
  • Evidence of management of all Health and Safety procedures, preferably a qualification in H&S
  • Knowledge of arboriculture practices would be an advantage
  • Able to work proactively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to use Microsoft Office proficiently
  • Leadership and decision-making skills are a must
  • Be able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Motivated, reliable and committed
  • Have the ability to prioritise your workload and that of your team
