Role Description:

Our client is one of the world’s largest FM service providers, currently have an exciting opportunity for the role of Deputy General Manager to help manage the FM of an iconic building in London. You will be supporting the General Manager with specific responsibility for overseeing the FM and commercial operations within one of their most prestigious contracts/sites, where the service is 5* and expectations are always exceeded. It is essential the correct candidate will have experience managing very large teams across TFM in a corporate environment. The job holder’s focus will be on setting the highest standards across all areas and services (this includes Guest Services, Security, Cleaning, Engineering and the onsite Gym as well as Catering) to ensure the delivery of a consistent, high quality service, taking into account the needs of the Client and the Consumer..

Key Responsibilities and Skills needed:

Deputise for the GM when required
Experience managing very large teams across TFM in a corporate environment
Be commercially minded in every aspect of the business and day to day activity
Work with the General Manager and other company management to compile Company budgets and forecasts for all service streams
Work with the onsite teams and Company Group teams to manage costs in line with budget and business need - labour, overheads and cost of sale:
To ensure that each activity achieves its required profit margins, and to chart this information
To check and sign off forecasts and other financial work on a weekly basis
Compile and utilise financial information in a constructive and beneficial way
To understand, interpret, explain and act on the implications of financial information
To work with the management team to ensure allocation of projects, events and day to day activity is fairly allocated and provide support throughout the planning and delivery of each activity
To plan and deliver business plans, strategies and relevant projects to ensure the business continues to grow, develop and remain at the forefront of the industry
To be a regular presence at events, contracts and project work, monitoring and helping to ensure that the delivery matches ambition and promise
To line-manage the management team, to ensure the smooth running of the company
Work with the management team to develop and implement strategies that will lift standards and raise the overall authority that the Company has, enabling the company to rise to the next level
Develop and implement strategies to allow the Company to effectively navigate the daily onsite activity and make the most of what they can offer
Work with the whole team to ensure high customer satisfaction
Work with the whole team to ensure high product, service and environmental
Work with the General Manager and colleagues in the development, setting and maintenance of the corporate image of the Company across all of the company activity, including partners and suppliers
Be a champion of the Company to all that they come into contact with
At all times be an advocate and ambassador for the company and Integrated Facility Solutions
Represent the Company at various forums within the company and with the Client
Work with all relevant parties to develop the strategy across all commercial activity, including style of food and beverage service across each piece of the business
