Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment are excited to share that we are currently networking for a Data and Examinations Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a multi-academy trust consisting of four secondary schools and five primary schools. As their talent sourcer, we are delighted to promote the opportunity of Data and Examinations Manager to support the Team in Borough. As Data and Examinations Manager, you will be responsible for the curation and analysis of data across the schools, overseeing the storage of data and the use of information within the establishment. The ideal Data and Examinations Manager will have mathematical/statistical knowledge, data security experience and a good understanding of the rules and regulations surrounding exams, storage of papers and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside colleagues to ensure pupil records are complete and accurate -ensuring integrity of the data

  • Management of statutory returns processes such as the school census, and engage with routine exercises such as Tables Checking

  • Management of internal assessment data, collating information through data mark sheets

  • Extract and interpret data from Power BI and MIS system to create internal and ad hoc reports, as well as complete termly Trust ‘insight’ reports

  • Support with the reporting of data to parents and external stakeholders

  • Generate relevant analysis and insight for colleagues to support the wider school improvement strategy

  • Support leaders with timetabling and grouping throughout the academic year

  • Oversight of systems around data and examinations - support colleagues' use of those systems

  • Oversee and manage the examination administration and entry process, liaising with partners around pre- and post-examination services

  • Oversee and manage the operation of the examinations policy, in accordance with JCQ regulations

  • Oversight of examination staff - invigilators etc. in relation to recruitment and training

  • Work within the academy framework with regard to Health and Safety

  • Promote equal opportunities in the Academy and support the Trust EDI strategy

  • Actively promote the aims and ethos of the Federation / Academy

  • Support the Academy’s commitment to the continued professional learning of all staff

  • Undertake any additional duties as may reasonably required by the CEO or Principal

  • Be aware of and assume the appropriate level of responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and to report any concerns in accordance with the Academy’s safeguarding policies
