Role Description:

An exciting role has arisen at one of London’s most iconic locations. This area is famous for its sporting and music events. Drawing in people from all over the world to view these events and with events happening each week, you can be sure this job will remain interesting and no two days will be the same.

Our Client is looking for an energetic Cleaning Contract Manager, to manage all cleaning aspects of the estate cleaning operation. You will manage a team of 10 Cleaning Staff and 2 Supervisors. Additional staff will be present for all events, but they will be managed by the event organiser.

Main duties and responsibilities of the Cleaning Contract Manager

  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships ensuring that regular liaison is maintained throughout the customer decision making unit (DMU) and that standards/audits, KPI’s, SLA’s and management reports reflect the standard of service to their optimum and in line with customer expectation
  • To understand and manage clients’ expectations within the boundaries of the contract and ensure that the service delivered and management information required by the client is provided within timelines agreed as per the contract and/or the operating practices
  • To bring all reports of customer dissatisfaction to the attention of the Line Manager and agree actions
  • To manage direct reports, i.e. supervisors and other operatives, to ensure that cleaning operatives have the tools, training and ability to complete the tasks being asked of them
  • To recruit, induct, train and develop employees, developing an efficient and effective workforce that is competent in the use of cleaning agents and machinery
