Our Client provides specialised service options such as high-level cleaning, contract window cleaning, daily cleaning, builders’ handover cleaning, jet-washing, bird spike installation, void clearances, removals and storage options.
Their client base includes a variety of business environments to include London Boroughs (vast quantities of schools, colleges and libraries in and around the London, Essex and surrounding counties), they also carry out multiple support services for several NHS trusts.  They have an extensive range of services starting from basic level through to specialised work and deliver across a wide variety of public and private sector buildings. The buildings that are serviced include offices, manufacturing facilities, shops, shopping centres, schools, local councils and public event venues.
They are an SME with ambitious plans for the future. They are recruiting for a Business Development Manager who can build the sales structure around them and ultimately lead the development of the business through new contract awards. Our Client is prepared to compensate high effort with high reward but the individual must have sales experience in the soft service industry. 
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Generate and develop business relationships with an effective approach that maximises both revenue and profitability, working to support agreed sales targets.
  • Present to potential clients through direct communication via face-to-face meetings, telephone calls and e-mails.
  • Devise and deliver tailored presentations to potential clients by using a wide range of presentation techniques.
  • Actively and successfully, manage the complete sales process; lead generation, credentials pitch, asking questions, solution pitch, negotiation, close and handover to the operations team.
  • Possess drive, motivation and attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are explored and capitalised.
  • Effectively interact with all the team.
  • Generate weekly reports.
  • To undertake any other duties commensurate with this position as designated by the Director.
