Role: Business Development Manager - Cleaning 

Salary: £45k / 50k basic plus commission and benefits package to include a company car

Role Description:

Business Development Manager required for a Contract Cleaning Company that operates across the retail, educational, distribution, commercial and leisure sectors. 
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities in the cleaning industry with the support of leads that are passed to you. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Proven success and experience in the cleaning industry  - non industry experience is also a consideration if you have strong sales skills and a proven track record 
  • Possess excellent knowledge of the entire sales cycle from initial lead finding through to tendering and closing the sale
  • Excellent client engagement, persuasion and communication skills
  • Be a constant & effective target achiever and closer
  • Able to keep up to date with latest trends and best practices
  • Abl to deliver professional presentations to clients (in support of the bidding process)
  • Apply commercial acumen to the sales process
