Role Description:
Our Client has one of the strongest reputations in the contract cleaning London market. They are looking for a Business Development Manager whose primary focus will be to generate and convert new business opportunities that fit with the chosen strategy in the London corporate cleaning sector. In addition to a new business target, the role also supports the retention of existing customers when contracts are retendered.
Proven relationship building and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
  • Working closely within a team of other business development professionals
  • Development of new business opportunities, account development of existing portfolio customers and company promotion via social media channels
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure potential business growth, cross-selling, and support rebids as necessary
  • Creation of bespoke tender documents that differentiate the company in the market
  • Pricing of multi service solutions and identifying value propositions
  • Completion of complex pricing returns
  • Reporting on the most recent innovations and industry developments
  • Development of market and competitor knowledge and pricing strategies
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation
  • Writing reports and analysing relevant business data
  • Presentation of bids for internal signoff and to customers at decision stage
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5 years industry experience in cleaning or similar FM service
  • Proficient user of Google Suite or Microsoft Office, particularly Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
